In this class you will do both! We start with building a foundation of drawing energetic poses from observation, and develop the sketches into stylized dynamic dancer poses. By the end of class you’ll be able to communicate that sense of movement in your final dancer project. We talk about style through an active discovery process. Helping you to identify your individual illustration style is a big part of this class.

The class is based on a personal DANCERS project. DANCERS is a series of illustrations with female characters in energetic and dynamic poses. I think that women in positive self expression are a powerful image.
