We’ll work together, setting up a dynamic composition and employing a range of techniques to create a believable sense of depth. Gather your materials as described in lesson two and in the handout under the Projects and Resources tab. As you work through the project, you’ll be applying a number of techniques you’ve learned:

Foreground, middle ground, background
Diminishing size and detail
Overlapping, line weight
Atmospheric depth
Ink line and watercolor wash techniques for on-location sketching
