The datacenter sector is estimated to represent approximately two percent of global electricity consumption, and as the demand for cloud services continues to grow, so does the need for datacenter infrastructure and the energy that powers them. Microsoft is committed to growing datacenter infrastructure responsibly through the use of renewable energy, reducing carbon footprint, and leveraging technology to maximize efficiencies across the supply chain.
