About the Instructor:

Martin Waxman is a content and communications strategist who teaches digital strategy and social media.

He’s the cofounder of three PR agencies, president of a consultancy, Martin Waxman Communications, and has worked in the industry for 25 years.
Martin writes a monthly column on social and digital trends for Marketing magazine, and is one of the hosts of the Inside PR podcast. He’s also the 2016 chair of PRSA Counselors Academy, a member of the SXSW Interactive Programming Committee, and a member of the Social Media Week Toronto advisory board.
Martin developed a certificate in digital strategy and communications management for the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies, and teaches several courses there. He’s also a social media and PR professor at Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario. He regularly speaks at conferences across North America and guest lectures on PR and digital communications.
Martin has published two books of fiction and an ebook on multimedia storytelling. He’s been a standup comedy MC, film and TV writer, and freelance journalist.
